This faucet is actually more solid than it looks. When I bought it, I thought it would be kinda weak, but it turns out really, really solid. I don't know anything about the Chome but this thing is better than steel from my personal view. So far, I just cannot think of anything bad about this thing. Highly recommend to everybody who likes new stuff. It's like the products from Sharper Image, but much much cheaper.

When I was looking for a new faucet, this waterfall item caught my eye. There was a big problem when I received it. The fittings will not fit my Kohler sink. The holes in the sink are too large for the fittings provided with the faucet and when you tighten them, they have a tendency to tilt into the hole and in addition, the handles rub against the chrome plate for the holes and that makes a grinding sound when turned.
This item is made in China and may work in some foreign sinks but I don;t think American sinks because Kohler is the benchmark. The hoses provided with the faucet in my opinion are too short and come equipped with 1/2 inch fittings on both ends which in most cases is 1/2 inch on one end and 3/8 inch on the other for the shut off valve underneath the sink. As I said it's nice looking but not grown up enough to fit the American market.
