This overflow will NOT fit most tubs. So, unless you already have a Kohler tub with a matching overflow opening, you will be returning this item as soon as you have opened the box.

I give it only 1 star because Kohler should have this particularity clearly stated in their Product info, specs, assembly instructions and anywhere else where they can think about.
Instead, they tell you that the color and finish will match the look of faucets with the same color and finish.
But they don't tell you that the shape of this overflow kit ONLY matches certain tubs.

I bought this to go with my Kohler Underscore tub for my bathroom remodel. I didn't have much choice in drains for this model, other than finish. As far as drains go, it's nice. The slotted overflow piece looks pretty cool compared to the circular ones you typically see. It felt pretty sturdy and of good quality. It's a Kohler so I guess you can't go wrong. This was installed by a licensed plumber, and there were no issues with it.

If you have purchased the kohler tub with the slotted overflow drain then you will need to purchase this product. The finishes on the toe tap and overflow cover are what you are really paying for, the rest is pvc sch 40 fitting and pipe that you have to assemble with pvc primer, glue, plumbers putty and silicone caulk.
