I lifted my truck and put bigger wheels and tires on it, Due to this I lost about 5 miles per gallon. With the Cortex i got all of it back.

Simple to use, gave me the performance I wanted as well as ability to track some stats and figures. The company had good support and updates. I have nothing but good feelings for this product. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to tinker around with their car, but does not know the engine in and out. I used this with my 2008 Pontiac G8 GT (6.0L V8). Noticed improvement in acceleration, as well as engine performance on highway driving. Liked the ability to toggle the cylinder shut down for my car.

I bought this product for my 07 GMC Yukon. Now don't get me wrong this device definitly changed my yukon but not in the way it was advertised. I originally bought this for its towing application. I tow a 6,000 lb trailer with it, but I figured more throttle response and better gas mileage would be a good bonus. My suv has a lot of stock power but has always been sluggish off the line so I expected this superchip based on its ads and reviews to really help with it. It isnt any faster off the line in the performance mode than stock but its when you downshift when already moving that you feel the horses. It wasnt untill I installed a cold air intake that I noticed a major difference in throttle response. The towing mode made a small difference in up hill pulling, and the fuel saver mode added about 0.5 extra mpg. So overall the HP to $$$ ratio is pretty low. A decent product but a little overpriced.
